Christopher Robin? Pooh?

I know there's gonna be a lot of disagreement with my opinion, but I really found this movie a letdown - boring and downright gray. As an avid fan of any Disney movie, this movie made me feel depressed and bored. There were some scenes that made me tear up but all in all, it didn't live up to the overall Disney vibe.

[spoiler]

The movie is about a father, (Christopher Robin) who grew up and lost the child in him. He plans a trip with his family to go back to the cottage where he grew up but decided that work was more important and decided to stay behind, much to the dismay and annoyance of his wife and daughter. When Pooh suddenly pops up in the Robins' home due to the absence of his friends, Robin decides to head to his cottage to return Pooh. He tries his best to avoid his family, as he doesn't want them to know that he is there. When arriving at the tree stump, he decides to help Pooh find his friend. He helps find Pooh's friend, and solve the case of the Heffalumps. When Robin's paperwork falls from his briefcase while rushing back to his workplace, Pooh and his friends travel to Robin's workplace with the help of Robin's daughter, Madeline. Evelyn (Madeline's mother) notices a note from Madeline saying that she is headed to her father workplace to return his paperwork, quickly follows them. They encounter Pooh and his friends and joins together in finding Madeline. They finally find Madeline and they reunite.

Overall, the climax was short and quick, with no particular actions that made it feel like the climax. Additionally, there were no particular scenes that were especially memorable. The color scheme was dark and gloomy. Although this color scheme was used on purpose, the movie felt a lot more depressing to watch. The cinematography of the film amazing, mixing in realism and an imaginative fantasy that is loved by both kids and adults. As it is with many films these days, the climax and ending of the movie were lackluster and have no sort of excitement. Their attempts at adding action and excitement fall short, and were very platonic and had no mood to it. The lessons in this movie is worth listening to and following, as it teaches kids many good life lessons. In conclusion, the movie is great for gloomy days and is best suited for children who only care and focuses on the cuteness of the animals, but is quite boring for the majority of teens and adults.
