Club Fair 2023: There’s a Club for Everyone!

08/21/2023

Every year, the Student Council prepares a club fair for students to show off their cultivation skills and clubs! While walking into the fair, one is immediately greeted by the lively atmosphere. The lively atmosphere is heightened by the background music, and the busy crowd creates a sense of community among those present. Students are engaged in conversations, eagerly seeking information about the different clubs. Becoming a new club member gives students a chance to make new friends and explore their interests.

The Logos student body's diversity translates seamlessly into our clubs. Students flocked to tables with club leaders eagerly promoting their clubs at the club fair. Club Fair was a success! With over 15 students signing up in the majority of the clubs throughout the event, the second A4 sign-up sheet paper was already being scribbled on after the first one was completely full. Here is a brief introduction of each club:

Truth Be Told (TBT)

The club offers a unique opportunity for students to learn more about God's words freely. The added bonus of free snacks also makes the experience more delightful. It is a welcoming environment for discussion about the Word of God with peers and teachers.

Dance Club

One of the standout clubs at the fair was the Dance Club. Known for their incredible skills showcased at our school talent shows, this club never fails to impress. If you have a passion for dancing or simply want to learn some new moves, the dance club is the perfect place to be!

Journalism Club

The Journalism Club was another popular choice among the students–particularly among those who were interested in journalism and media. They proudly displayed the work that they handle including the covering of sports events and school activities, Humans of Logos photography series, Logos In Action youtube videos, etc. This club is perfect for those seeking to engage in a creative and exciting environment.

*We also encourage students to listen to our Spotify playlists and await for more to come from Journalism!

Math Club

For those who are more comforted by the thought of academics, the Math Club provides an environment for students to help each other with challenging math concepts and even prepare for math competitions such as the Olympiad. Despite sounding intimidating, this club proves that learning together can make the subject more approachable.

Model United Nations (MUN)

MUN is a club that is challenging and yet rewarding in many ways. Students take on the roles of delegates from different countries and engage in diplomatic simulations and debates about global concerns. Not only is this club good for enhancing of one's speaking ande debating skills, but it also a great way to make new friends from outside of the Logos community!

PPE

AKA Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, provides a more relaxed environment compared to the MUN club. While engaging in thoughtful discussions and debates, it is guaranteed (by Paul himself) that your public speaking and debating skills will be refined.

Esports Club

Esports Club offers a competitive environment for gaming enthusiasts to bond over fun and competitive games and participate in gaming events, fostering a love for gaming. If gaming is your passion, this is the place to be.

Drawing/Comic Club

Do you have a talent for drawing, or do you like reading webcomics? This club allows students to share their creations, participate in enjoyable activities with fellow art enthusiasts, and share your artistic abilities with others!

Running Club

The exhilarating feeling of running in the wind with the air sweeping across your face is a familiar one for the runners in the running club! For those who enjoy action and being one with the wind, running club is a great way to get all your energy out with cardio.

Club Fair is an excellent opportunity for students to explore interests, find niches, and enhance their school experience! Joining a club enhances personal growth, skill development, and social connections, allowing students to make the most of their secondary years. Join one now!!
