Club Series: Where Future Scientist Unite
The start of this school year marked the debut of several new clubs, one of which is the Science Club. Led by Soneata Pol, Meixin Pan, and Celeste Cima, the Science Club focuses on learning about science and the environment through fun, hands-on experimentation.
A typical meeting is full of creativity and excitement. Students gather to brainstorm new experiment ideas, write out their procedures, or, best of all, perform experiments together. Their most recent experiment, making lava lamps, showcased vibrant colors overlapping with the amazing principles of chemistry. These kinds of exciting reactions are what inspired Soneata, the club's founder, to create Science Club in the first place.
"I created Science club because I wanted to blow stuff up with my friends and figured that other students should also have this experience." - Soneata Pol, G.11
The Science Club is the perfect place for students who want to learn more about the wonders of science or are curious to see what this club has to offer. They meet every Tuesday lunch in room 306, and both high school and middle school students are welcome to join.
"You should join science club to dive deeper and understand science to enhance our critical thinking skills." - Meixin Pan, G.12
"Science Club is a unique, one-of-a-kind club and an exciting new addition to the growing number of clubs offered here at Logos. Make sure to drop by so you can have the chance to participate in the fun!" - Celeste Cima, G.12
