High School Retreat :: Thoughts

Retreat was a great time to relieve ourselves from stress, and to develop a deeper relationship with God. My favorite part of retreat was definitely being away from the city and being in nature. I also thought it was a great time to develop new friendships with students from different grades.

I enjoyed this year's retreat because we had an entire afternoon of free time where we were able to bike, swim, sleep, and such. The StuCo games and scavenger hunt were fun as well. All in all, it was a good retreat.

I really liked the speeches and the talks that Mr. Park and Mr. Barrett gave. I also really liked the water park and the room situations because we got to know people that we didn't normally hang out with.

Being part of the worship team was a blessed opportunity witnessing the high school Logosians worship and singing for God with all their lungs. Having no instruments but voices, guitar, and cajon was a new chapel experience :).

I enjoyed the peace and quiet time we had for ourselves to figure things out and getting to know others that I don't really talk to.
