#hullabaloo2019

"Hullabaloo? What the heck is that?"

The dictionary defines it as a clamorous uproar or a loud noise. This is partly true because we like to begin with a bang, everyone has a blast, and we always end the day on a high note.

All puns aside, it's that time of year again when all of the high school and middle school students come together to participate and compete in games within their Logos house cup. This is a tradition that has been around for quite some time and gives students the opportunity to spend time together as well as have fun. Each year always seems to get better than the last, and with how hard our Student Council has been working lately, this year will most definitely be amazing. Let's get hyped so we can begin our jog through memory lane.

In previous years everyone competed in numerous amounts of games. Some leave you sweating and some leave you excited and ready for more! From the 3-legged race to the famous chair relay, there was always something to look forward to each year. Middle schoolers are always excited and ready to participate (and we love your energy!). Every year Hullabaloo ends with a bang, and of course, a group picture on the field to commemorate such a special day.

Who here remembers that one time when Ms. Cieslinski killed it on the dance floor with her moves? And what about that time when Mrs. Schleper did the worm? With this said, the energy is always high because we all want that sweet, sweet satisfaction of winning. Starting the day with our face paint ready and our team chants are ON. And of course, Mrs. Jacob is always ready with her pom-poms!

We asked a StuCo member what we should expect this Friday, and we got 3 things: a slightly impish grin, the implication that someone might get soaked, and a promise that there's going more food being sold during the break! Of course, come prepared with sunscreen and a full water bottle. It's going to be a hot day and your team will need you, so playing the wilting violet because of the heat will simply not do!

So if you are unsure or aren't sure what to expect, just know that the Student Council has got your back. This is a GREAT opportunity for the upperclassmen to get to know other underclassmen as well as hang out with their friends, and this is a GOLDEN opportunity for the underclassmen to make friends with upperclassmen. Needless to say, this year's Hullabaloo is definitely an event worth waiting for. Don't forget to make the most of it, and most importantly don't forget to have fun. Lastly, to ALL of the house cups, good luck! And may the best house win!
