Both teams had shown excellent perseverance and sportsmanship throughout their first games which would soon carry on towards the rest of the day.

The boys varsity team's journey started against CIA, and they came out with an obvious win with a score of 38-27. The win was earned through intensity, and it proved to be a hard-fought battle. It also displayed their prowess on the basketball court and their ability to score. It was a testament to the team's hard work in training. This match displayed the team's ability to defend like a wall and maneuver their offense to make the opponents struggle to catch up with the pace.

After a half an hour break, the varsity girl's team were back on court playing against CIA. The game itself was beatifully played with the assists from the captain, and an insanely skilled center foreward, thus ending the game with a 5 point difference with a score of 16-11. However, in the following junior varsity's game, things got heated as the other team had shown unsportsmanlike conduct against our players. Despite that JV girl's still prevailed and brought the eagles to their defeat with a score of 10-2.

The second game for the team was against Asian Hope, and they came out victorious once again. The discipline implemented by their coach led them to a 43-31 win. The game went to overtime and the Logos ended up winning 21-19. They were extremely thin on ice. The team celebrated with a victory and were satisfied with their efforts.

The girls went on to secure their last win of the day against the hosting school, HOPE, with an intense game. The girls were exhausted from their past games, but did not hesitate nor give up at all during their final. Honestly speaking, playing against Hope international school was exhilarating after being renowned for their basketball skills. For varsity girls, the game was neck and neck until Rachel scored a beautiful three pointer which pushed us back in the lead with a result of 19-18. Soon afterwards, JV girls successfully continued the winning streak and secured the final win of the day with a score of 11-4.

Learning Experiences.

The varsity team's second match was against Hope international school, a school infamous for their basketball skills. It would be a tough match for them to win. However, that thought did not stop them from putting in their best effort into the game. That all came short when Hope won 26-41. Every defeat presents an opportunity for growth and reflection on what to improve on. Success will not always be possible and failure will come by. After the match, the team will come back stronger and tougher by analyzing their weaknesses and refining them.

The junior varsity also had to suffer with losses. Their first match was against CIA which ended up with a devastating score of 15-31 and a close loss to hope, 27-32. They do not feel discouraged as they put their full efforts into each game. The team feels confident in their ability to make a comeback for the ISSAPP tournament through careful analysis of their mistakes and correcting them through more practice. Practice makes perfect.

Both the girls' and boys' teams showcased incredible performance in the recent friendly tournament. The girls' team demonstrated remarkable coordination, strategic play, and admirable sportsmanship throughout the matches. Similarly, the boys' team exhibited impressive athleticism, strong defense, and offensive prowess. With such remarkable talent and potential, we have high expectations for both teams in the upcoming ASAC tournament. We believe that their experience and companionship will propel them to even greater heights. As they continue to train and refine their skills, we are confident that they will excel in the ASAC tournament, achieving new milestones and making our school proud.
