Volleyball Season Wrap-Up 2022

10/22/2022

Last week Saturday, the Logos Lightning volleyball team participated in their first finals in the ISSAPP tournament after a long wait of 2 years due to Covid. Weeks of intensive training, discipline by coaches, and perfecting along with correcting techniques led them to this very moment. Games started as early as 8AM and lasted until 4PM.

Excitement, nervousness, and exhaustion swarmed our players' games into simple summarization. Varsity Boys and Junior Varsity Girls maintained a record of 1-2 whilst playing hard against the likes of ISPP, CIA, CIS, LFRD, and much more. Junior Varsity Boys had a record of 1-1 beating CIA and losing to Paragon.

Varsity girls were the only ones left to bring the trophy home. Going 3-0 and undefeated throughout the entire tournament, the girls were a force to be reckoned with. They won in the finals in a blowout game bringing home the ISSAPP trophy. Many described their game as "Unbelievable" while some said they were "Up next." The 2022-2023 volleyball season has ended in success and the entirety of Logos is excited for next year's season!

Here's what some of our Seniors have to say!
